Please note: Whilst this event is not ticketed, we highly recommend ensuring you are registered via Eventbrite so you are contacted with the most up-to-date information.
We are extremely excited to welcome you to Recovery Walk Scotland 2022 in Paisley on Saturday 24th September. I have attached the event programme, site and route maps to help you better plan for the day.
The walk is approximately 1.5 miles through Paisley Town Centre (which should take just under an hour). We ask that anyone taking part in the walk/procession to wear appropriate footwear for walking this distance. For anyone who is unable to take part, you are welcome to gather in the Recovery Village/Festival area after the Roses in the White Cart ceremony to welcome the procession back.
For coaches the drop off and pick up point for the walk is Smithhills Street, which is a short walk from the Festival site.
I’m sure all us Scots will be prepared for all weather conditions, including sunscreen/block, hats, hoods and possibly an umbrella tucked in for good measure.
To all groups who have registered, please pass this information on to all those coming on the day. We are also looking for additional volunteer stewards for the day, if your group are able to offer any bodies from your group to help out, could you please contact Amy via email on amy@scottishrecoveryconsortium.org
If you have not already, please follow Recovery Walk Scotland on Facebook & Twitter – which we keep up to date with the latest information on the day.
On behalf of the Recovery Walk Scotland team, we look forward to seeing you all there!
